Asian longhorned beetle has been found in Boston. On July 6th, six infested red maple trees were removed and destroyed on the grounds of Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain. A 1.5 mile radius regulated area has been established, covering 10 square miles. Some of the first coverage of this news:
